Valid passport date ?

Beware of some countries which require a passport validity date greater than the date of your return from vacation : For Indonesia for example, you must have a valid passport valid at least 6 months after your returning date.

Find out about the necessary visas , their cost and how to provide them. Beware of deadlines which can be sometimes very long (from 1 to 4 weeks depending on the Country)

Are your vaccines up to date for the chosen destination?

VERY IMPORTANT: I ​​recommend it to all of my travelers : have a copy of all your documents (identity, hotels, car rentals, you never know what can happen !)

Money and payments

Consider increasing the limits on withdrawals and payments from your bank.

I recommend that you change some money of the currency of your destination before your departure. There is not always an exchange office immediately upon arrival and this can be useful.
